I have been asked many times - why don't atheists, skeptics, and humanists have a 'church'?
The answer is - our 'church' is any place where we meet as a group. I have discovered the comradery or many new friends by visiting the many associates in my area of Southern California.
I enjoy conversing with other like-minded individuals, and rarely leave a group setting without gaining more knowledge.
It's time we join forces and hold our own mini-convention with all the freethought groups in our area |

From 8pm-11pm will be our great speakers, which some are listed here.
Others are David Richards from the Independent Investigations Group (IIG), Stephanie Campbell from Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and Stuart Bechman, president of Atheist Alliance International (AAI).
We are working on Michael Newdow and many other prominent members in the freethought community.
Many local groups will be manning the surrounding tables to give information about where each are located and their meeting places, and several book vendors will also attend.
Prices will be very affordable: $25-35 for the day session and $30-40 for the evening session.
We will be having seminars from 12-6pm, including a 'table talk' seminar where you will be able to go to one of 15 tables with signs of different topics on each table.
Dinner break is 6pm-8pm. There are over a dozen great restaurants within walking distance.

You will be able to pre-register soon. There will be a three-tiered pricing structure, Early-bird Special, Pre-registration and At-the-door.
We expect 300-500 attendees.
